American Soul: The Black History of Food in the United States is an education and celebration of Black American food contributions and culture by writer and influencer Anela Malik. It was an absolute joy to photograph 20+ original recipes with a phenomenal team, including Food Stylist Nichole Bryant, Prop Stylist Emilie Fosnocht, Lighting Assistant Matthew Dandy, and creative direction from the National Geographic Books team.
